hotel june, los angeles
L.A’s new spot….
Hotel June is a boutique hotel next to Playa VIsta, in the west part of Los Angeles. An ultra-cool spot for neighborhood locals and jet-setters alike.
I have been lucky enough to spend a couple afternoons at the beautifully designed terrace bar enjoying great cocktails, yes, cocktails, more than one, because they are absolutely delicious and great eating too. The cocktail and food menu is reminiscent to Baja, Mexico. Tequila and Mezcal cocktails, bites like fresh raw oysters, salads, local grilled fish, chips with salsa, fries, and burgers a menu by chef Angie Lee. I couldn’t help to notice the thoughtful color palette of the cocktails and food menu an inspiring palette of a dreamy California sunset.
While lounging outdoor in the terrace bar just overlooking the caravan swim club, I’m listening to the best eclectic playlist from Poolside, LCD Sound system, Torbotito, to Sandra De Sa evoking an endless summer spirit, as if vacation never ends. The playlist was so good I started to follow June Jams on Spotify.
Hotel June is the perfect spot for a casual lunch and dinner. If you're like me start with lunch and end the day there with dinner.
Make it a stay-cation anytime of the week, get inspired by the modern mid-century meets Baja decor and color palette of soft sunset pink, cream, golden yellow, and native succulent greens.
A special thanks to Carlee and the entire staff for being so gracious.
